Tile paint seemed like a good idea 20 years ago and didn't look that bad.
But after years of showers and baths it was peeling badly 🙄
One of those jobs I kept putting off, but finally got motivated to do something about it after another bit of paint stuck to my arm when having a shower  ::)
3 days of scraping and cleaning and I'm getting there, but still a long way to go

Starting it the weekend before Christmas probably not the best idea  :)
So a 2 day break for good food and telly.
The middle pic was after I started then remembered I should do a before shot

Easily pleased  ::)
Old paint needed mixing stick wasn't doing the job, and didn't want to mess up the food mixer, so ......
Worked perfectly  :)

I made a simple stir rod from a coat hanger.  Chuck it into my electric drill and run it on slow speed.  Is that what you are doing with the wooden spoon?
Love the colour.

Yes did the trick, paint was what was left after doing it originally about 20 years ago
So it had separated into layers of paint and oil, but after a good mix with wooden spoon mixer all good  :)

was a bit annoyed that after my old food mixer had gone up in smoke last year, that I didn't keep the mixer blades?
as you know I rarely throw anything remotely useful away  ::)  but seems I did with those which would have been ideal so had to bodge an alternative, did find about 10 wooden spoons at back of cupboard  :)

Just having a whinge  :headwall

Wanted to get some of those stick on decals to cover the few odd coloured tiles, couldn't find them anywhere except Amazon.
So even though I rarely use Amazon I ordered some, along with a pot of tile adhesive as I need to replace a few half tiles at the end of the bath.
Wait all day for delivery, turns up at 6pm last night. Open box and tile adhesive pot is split and has leaked.
So order a free replacement, have to wait for pickup of old box (free with Parcel force, came at 11am).
Replacement arrives at 2:30 but once again the tub is split and leaking.
Went through the process again, but no replacement is available only option is a refund which takes 14-21 days?  :no

Flimsy pot, but only protection inside box was a piece of brown paper?
Does bubble wrap eat into their profit margins  ::)

Buy the powdered compound instead of the premix. Lasts forever. Just mix what you need.

I've had a few broken bits from Amazon, it's very frustrating having to return stuff  :headwall
