Looking for a method to copy photos from my PC Computer to my cell phone

I can connect my cell phone to my computer with a cable.
It allows me to copy photos from my cell phone to my computer.
But I would like to be able to copy photos from my computer to my cell phone.
I cannot find a way to do it.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It should be the reverse of what you do when you go from phone to PC.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S20 which is Android on a Windows 11 PC, if this is different to an iPhone or other phones please let us know. Also remember that some phone leads don't go both ways some are just for charging.

Look at the attached.

1. Make sure you've unlocked your phone. Now open Windows Explorer (see image 'explorer.png' below)

2. Once explorer is open look for your phone in the list in the left pane (phone1)

3. There should be a box with a + in it, you need to click on that then the list of folders or storage will show (phone1a)

4. If you can see the list of folders then click on the 'Pictures' folder, now you should see the files in that folder.

5. Find the picture you want to copy to the phone and just drag it to the 'Pictures' folder, you can use right click and hold it as you drag and then once you let go on the folder you'll get the option to copy or move.

I have an Apple phone so it's easy using iCloud, just move them to the Uploads folder.
Not sure if Android types have the same options?
Prior to that I used to e-mail them to my phones mail account and copy from there.

So far so good but how do I enlarge the screen so I can read it.  It's way too small for me.

Your instructions.  I have found a way by using the View.

Anyway. Everything is fine until I have to drag the picture on my desktop to the phone.

Where do I drag it to?   Is there a folder on the cell phone?

If you look again at the attached image you'll see that on the left side column the device is listed 'Daves S20' and if you click on the + sign next to the phones name it expands what's in it. You can see I have put a square round the folders that are inside my phone.

One of those folders is 'Pictures' you should have one of those on your phone also, it's just a case of clicking on enough +'s to get you to that folder.

If you click on a folder in the list on the left column (that I've put the square round) then you see the contents of that folder listed in the right hand column.
