How to create a quiz

Using the 3 images follow the instructions as shown below.

NOTE: If you want to create a quiz on this site (Quizland) then follow all the instrutions as below and if you want to add a quiz icon then you'll need to ask me to upload it to the folder for you.

If you want to add a quiz icon then you need to upload the image to 'Quizes'

If you are adding pictures to a quiz question then they need to go in to 'Questions'

The path to your folder might be different.

I would suggest you do this first as you can use the drop box in the quiz creation box as mentioned below in item 6.

Firstly click on the 'Quiz' link at the top of the main forum page.

1. Click on 'User Quizzes'
2. Click on 'Add New Quiz'

3. Enter the name of your quiz
4. Select which 'Category' the quiz should be in
5. Enter the description of the quiz and what the person doing the quiz will need to know i.e. 'Each question will show you a photo of a person. Look at picture and tell me who is it before the time runs out'
6. Use the drop box to select an image that's already in the system to use as your quiz icon.
7. Insert the amount of times a person can play the quiz.
8. Insert how many seconds the person will have to answer the question.
9. Tick the box if you want the person to see the correct answer once the question has been answered. (This is the same if they get the answer right or wrong)
10. If you were only making changes to the general quiz info then click on 'Save Quiz'
11. If you have only just started to create the quiz and need to add questions then click 'Save Quiz and Add Questions'

12. Insert the question text here.
13, Select what type of answer the person will have to give. There are 3 options, 'Free Text','Multiple Choice' or 'True or False'
14. Insert the answer text to accompany the 'Answer'(if the asnwer to the question was 'Joe Bloggs' you could write. "He was born in London in 1572 and lived all his life in the city")
15. Insert the correct answer next to the 'Radio Button' box and fill the rest of the boxes with other names.
16. If you want less boxes then delete as appropriate or add if need be.
17. If this is the last question in the quiz the click 'Save Question'
18. If you are still adding questions choose 'Save and Add More' NOTE: do not click 'Done' unless you are only correcting something in the question, if you click 'Done' and you are only creating the question it will not save it and you will have to do the whole question again.

Quizzes are approved by Admin so once you have submitted the quiz they will look at it and approve it as long as it doesn't conflict with the site rules and it works OK.

If you want to create quizzes here that play music you will have to let me know as it's a little more complicated than the walkthrough above as music tracks need to be uploaded to the site files and then linked to them. I have no objections to you doing this but it has to be done in a certain way.
